This coffee is grown by 75 farmers from seven indigenous highland communities in T'Boli, South Cotabato. This is the ancestral domain of the Tboli tribe who have a heritage of weaving sacred fabric inspired by dreams—thus, The Dream Coffee's name.

T'Boli is a lush, mountainous municipality with arabica trees growing naturally in a forest that surrounds indigenous sacred sites like Mt. Melibengoy and its caldera, Lake Holon. Since 2017, we have been working with our farmer-partners to create a culture of good agricultural practices, as well as ethical buying standards. When you purchase a bag of The Dream Coffee, you are on the receiving end of coffee that's shade-grown, handpicked and harvested ripe, organically produced, roasted in small batches, and traded directly with our farmer-partners.

Great as iced coffee!

I've been experimenting with a couple of brewing methods and so far, it's been great with a Japanese iced coffee method! The beans themselves have a beautiful aroma so much so that it's a treat to open the bag and take a quick whiff before sealing it back up just to preserve the scent. Drinking it iced (and/or with milk) is a pleasant experience with its slight fruitiness and chocolatey notes.

This was delicious as a pour over and from the Aeropress, and it made me so happy knowing it comes from a direct trade with the local farmers. Will definitely purchase again.

Excellent sample of our local coffee

Had fun brewing this using an aeropress. I thought it was appropriate to name this The Dream. Thank you to our local coffee farmers for letting us taste their great product! Let’s continue to support our local coffee community!
